On Thursday (9/8/2011) there will be a Special Called Board Meeting at 5:00pm to discuss “human resource items.” This meeting will be followed by the second Budget Hearings meeting for the FY 2012 that is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm.
Since the first Budget Hearing meeting lasted all of 44 minutes (or $5.5 million per minute), I would expect that everyone will be home tonight by about 6:30pm. Unless, that is, people start asking questions.
Along those lines, I’ll have a few questions that I’ll be posting later today concerning the budget, but until then I wanted everyone to know about the meetings. Dr. Wardynski has correctly stated that our budget is our “statement of priorities.” Please come out to show him what your priorities are.
